What is a Big Bang?
A Big Bang is a fan event for artists and writers to collaborate on fanworks that celebrate the Big Bang's central theme, character(s), etc.How does this Big Bang work?
Writers will submit summaries of their fics, then artists and beta readers will submit claims for their top choices to work with. All summaries will be anonymous until team announcements.Writers and artists may also join the Big Bang as partners as long as they indicate it in their sign-ups.Is this event SFW, NSFW, or both?
The Karasuno Big Bang welcomes both SFW and NSFW works. You must be over 18 years old to create and interact with NSFW content.We are using AO3’s rating scale to determine SFW and NSFW content. Anything rated G or T is considered SFW, and anything rated M or E is considered NSFW.- General Audiences: The content is unlikely to be disturbing to anyone, and is suitable for all ages.
- Teen and Up Audiences: The content may be inappropriate for audiences under 13.
- Mature: The content contains adult themes (sex, violence, etc) that aren't as graphic as explicit-rated content.
- Explicit: The content contains explicit adult themes, such as porn, graphic violence, etc.What kind of content is allowed?
Fanworks that focus on at least one Karasuno character are allowed as long as they follow the rules and guidelines.General (non-ship) works are just as welcome as ship-centered works! Ship-centered content must include at least one Karasuno character as the main focus.What kind of content is not allowed?
The following topics are not allowed in the Karasuno Big Bang:
- suicide and self-injury (including self-harm, eating disorders, etc.)
- incest
- rape/sexual assault
- substance abuse (including alcohol and drugs)
- animal cruelty and animal death (including bestiality)
- physical, mental/emotional, and sexual abuse
- gore/extreme violenceAre the moderators over 18?
Yes, all of the mods are over 18.What are the requirements for artists?
All artists have different styles and processes that make them each amazing! Because of this, our requirement for completion is that the piece is an original visually complete work. Coloring, shading, and rendering are up to the artist's discretion for their piece.What are the requirements for writers?
The minimum requirement for writers is 5,000 words.What is a pinch hitter?
A pinch hitter is someone who may sign up to contribute to the Big Bang as a writer or artist when another writer or artist drops out of the event during the creation period.Pinch hitters will have a shorter creation period, but they will also be given a final deadline extension as needed. Rules

Big Bang Rules:
1) The contributor roles are Writer, Artist, Beta Reader, and Pinch Hitter. Anyone over the age of 16 may join the Karasuno Big Bang and the Discord server as a contributor or a Cheerleader.2) All contributors are expected to communicate with their team. If you have any issues with team communication, please contact a mod.3) You may participate in multiple contributor roles, but we ask that you consider the workload and your personal limits.4) All content created for the Karasuno Big Bang should be new, previously unpublished works. Writers may submit concepts from their drafts as long as they have not been published anywhere before.5) Keep your fanworks for the Big Bang a secret until the posting period. You should only discuss your concept with your team.6) If you need to drop out of the event for any reason, we ask that you contact a mod to do so before the final drop-out deadline, which will be determined after the interest check closes. There will be no hard feelings!7) We will be using AO3’s rating scale:

Discord Server Rules:
1) Be respectful. No racism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other form of discrimination or harassment will be tolerated.2) Try your best to use the relevant channels for your discussions. If a mod asks you to move your discussion to a different channel, please be respectful.3) Use the appropriate ratings, tags, and content or trigger warnings as needed. If you’re discussing a sensitive topic, please spoiler tag it using double | on both ends of the message.Ex: CW major character death ||MCD discussion||4) The Discord server will be our primary method of communication. You do not need to be super active to participate in the event, but you must at least join the server, introduce yourself in #introductions, self-assign the appropriate role(s) in #roles, and communicate with your partner(s).5) You must be at least 18 years old to create and interact with NSFW content. If you are 18+ and want access to NSFW content, please contact a mod. Anyone found to be lying about their age to access NSFW content or sharing NSFW content with minors will be banned from participating in both the event and Discord server.6) Both general (non-ship) and ship-centered content will be allowed in your fanworks as long as at least one Karasuno character is the main focus. Hate for a specific character or ship is not allowed. If you don't like a certain character or ship in a discussion, please refrain from the discussion until the topic changes.7) Plagiarism of any kind is not allowed. If you plagiarise any fanworks, you will not be allowed to participate in the event.8) When sharing a fic link or art recs, you must use the original link. Do not post screenshots of art from any website/app without the link to the original post.
